Youth Girls Coach Kurt Bufton To Stay an Angel for 2018

October 14, 2017

The Perth Angels are ecstatic to announce that our Youth Girls Coach Kurt Bufton has been retained for the 2018 season.

Kurt did a fantastic job in his first season with the Angels in 2017 and we saw not only the skills of our existing players improve to new levels, but also the impressive development of the many new players from week to week.

After a tough start to the season, Kurt lead the girls to two impressive wins over East Perth and it was evident from the sidelines that the team really began to become a cohesive unit that will be a force to be reckoned with in the upcoming 2018 season.

Not only did the players have a successful 2017, Kurt also was recognised with a Demon's District 'Community Coach Academy Outstanding Achievement Award' and Graduated from the Demon's District Coaching Academy.

Everyone is looking forward to the upcoming WAWFL season, and the beginning of preseason training is not too far away.

Applications are still open for the 2018 Head Coach and Reserves Coach positions, which you can find the details for here.
